My goal for the final project is to create a website that makes sense. So far, I have been insanely indecisive so I’ve taken an “easy way out” on creating my designs. This time, I would like to actually put some effort/though into the design aspect to create a cohesive portfolio. Mainly, I am going to try my hardest to start and finish this project long before the day that it is due.  I also want to simplify my ideas and allow my photography to speak for itself, while expressing the actual design as my art also. (if that makes any sense at all) I do not want the web design to compete with what I am trying to present in my portfolio. I want to find a creative way to keep my photography in the spotlight without being (what I consider) boring.

Pretty simple.

Notice how SlideShowPro’s configuration settings have been tweaked to match with the rest of the website’s aesthetic in the two photography online galleries. The album selections used a custom designed thumbnail image (with Photoshop, etc.) to get a really different look and feel.
